For Readers
I write what I read, which is chick lit and romance. I also write Asian-American characters. Since I grew up in Hawai’i and have lived in Northern California for several years, I’ve been steeped in the Asian American culture and want to share this unique atmosphere. I loved movies like My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Bend It Like Beckham because it proves that no matter what ethnicity you are, families are all alike.I’m also a Christian. In fiction and movies, Christians are sometimes portrayed as hypocritical and self-righteous. I try to write about the way true followers of Christ are supposed to behave—human, flawed, but trying to submit to God’s direction and power in their lives.
My debut novel, Sushi for One?, is the first book in The Sushi Series. If you check out that page, you'll also find blurbs on the books I'm still working on in the series.
My Short Stories page has weblinks to completed short stories. If you join my newsletter YahooGroup, there are three bonus short stories for subscribers—“Dom Perignon” “Jenny’s Winterball,” and “The Sushi Toss.”
I have a page for the Book Reviews I’ve written in case you were looking for a good read. My Camy’s Friends page tells a little about several of the Christian authors I’ve read and gotten to know, and I also have a list of Christian chick-lit titles currently in print.
Every month, I give away Christian novels from some of my favorite authors in a drawing exclusively for my newsletter subscribers. Join my YahooGroup and you could win!
I also give away Christian books on my blog every Monday and Thursday. You always have a week to enter each blog book giveaway, so visit my blog today!
